Yùmei (SCAD Beauty Brand)
I worked as an illustrator and surface designer for Yumei (SCAD Beauty) by Carmen Cheng. My responsibilities included creating spot illustrations, anatomical references, and assets for the product brand book. Additionally, I developed various ingredient motifs, patterns, and colorways for the skincare packaging and product labels. My goal was to capture East-Asian cultural motifs while maintaining the brand's clean visual identity. This was a cross-disciplinary collaboration where I closely worked with my art director and graphic designer to achieve the desired visual aesthetic.
